Regional Sales Director – Gaming / AI Development

Salary: £130,000 – £150,000 per annum + performance bonus + equity options
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven Regional Sales Director to lead business growth across the Gaming and Artificial Intelligence sectors. This role demands a strategic sales leader with deep industry knowledge, strong client relationships, and a proven record of building and scaling high-performing sales operations in cutting-edge technology environments.

You will spearhead regional sales initiatives, develop go-to-market strategies, and build lasting partnerships with enterprise clients, game studios, and AI innovators. Working closely with executive leadership, you’ll play a key role in expanding the company’s market presence, driving revenue growth, and shaping commercial strategy across a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the regional sales strategy aligned with global commercial objectives.

  • Identify emerging opportunities within the gaming and AI ecosystem, including partnerships with developers, publishers, and technology platforms.

  • Lead market analysis and segmentation to maximise commercial opportunities across enterprise and B2B channels.

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and R&D teams to align go-to-market plans with evolving technology and client needs.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive end-to-end sales performance across the region — from lead generation and pipeline development to deal closure and key account management.

  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders across the gaming and AI sectors.

  • Negotiate complex commercial contracts, licensing agreements, and strategic alliances.

  • Ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.

  • Set clear KPIs, implement performance frameworks, and foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver client-centric outcomes.

Market & Product Insight

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements in gaming, AI, and interactive entertainment.

  • Provide regular feedback to product development teams, influencing roadmap priorities and innovation pipelines.

  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to enhance brand recognition and thought leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ commercial experience, including 5+ years in a senior sales or business development leadership role within gaming, AI, or technology sectors.

  • Proven success in scaling revenue streams across regional or global markets.

  • Strong understanding of AI integration, machine learning applications, and gaming technology pipelines.

  • Demonstrable experience in closing high-value enterprise deals and building strategic partnerships.

  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategy.

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: £130,000 – £150,000 per annum (DOE)
